"What´s going on?"

Maybe some of you have read the story of a man who was very sick. So bad he was that his friends knew he needed a miracle or he would die. Fortunately, during those days, a miraculous Healer was in town so they decided that it was his only chance to survive.
As almost any famous person, the Healer was surrounded by lots of people and it was hard to reach him. Still, that didn´t stop the sick man´s friends to go but, when they got there, they found it impossible to go through the crowd. What would they do? Their friend´s life was in stake.
So they thought, “If we can´t go through the door, we´ll try some other way!”
It was then when the people inside the house started to hear some noises from the roof.
“What´s going on?” they said, seeing there was new light coming in from a whole in the ceiling. The light turned brighter and some shadows blocked it while a stretcher slowly was going down through it.
“That´s insane!” screamed some people, annoyed by the interruption and left feeling disturbed by the unwelcomed intruders.
“Do you need some help?” some others asked, trying to hold the pallet where the sick man was lying, making it easier to the group of friends.
“Good try! Keep going!” added others, smiling on sympathy, while watching the group of friends and the volunteers working hard to put the stretcher down.
“You crazy people! What have you done to my roof?” complained the owner, seeing his building damaged.
Did the sick man´s friends reach the goal? They certainly did and the Healer healed the man, who survived to live with his family, and was grateful to the Healer and to his friends who didn´t give up.

As I remember the story and go through all the different reactions, I see our small crew pictured in it and the way people have answered to our desperate try to bring our beloved Manny close to the only chance he has to survive.
You might be asking yourself: Are they going the reach their goal?
The answer is: Yes, be sure we will!
And I just guess, how many people will give us a hand to complete the task and how many will leave or see us with sympathy?

Just a thought from a “Crazy crew”.
